GenSpark MCP - Memex API Docs

Use GenSpark’s MCP connector to search and save content with Memex inside GenSpark chats.

Set up the connector

In the GenSpark iChat workspace, click the + icon in the chat composer.
Select Connectors.
Click Add.
Select Add new MCP server.
Enter Memex as the Server Name.
Select SSE as the Server Type.
In Memex, open Settings.
Go to MCP server.
Click Generate Key if you do not already have an API key.
Copy your Full Connection URL.
Paste the full connection URL into GenSpark’s Server URL field.
Leave Description empty or enter Search and save Memex sources.
Enter this in Request Header:

Click Add Server.

Use Memex in chats

Open a GenSpark chat.
Click the + icon in the chat composer.
Select Connectors.
Choose the Memex connector.
Ask GenSpark to search or save content with Memex.

Connection values

Use the Full Connection URL from Memex settings when GenSpark asks for the server URL:

https://memex.garden/api/mcp?userId=YOUR_USER_ID&apiKey=YOUR_MEMEX_API_KEY

If you need to enter the fields separately, use:

Server URL: https://memex.garden/api/mcp
User ID: YOUR_USER_ID
API Key: YOUR_MEMEX_API_KEY
